Katie Bean deSouza has a lot to offer — if, that is, you can keep up with her.

This high-energy, low-maintenance art director always has fifty things going on at once, which makes her life really interesting. (It also makes it hard to keep this bio short.)

Whether she’s perfecting photo shoots one two-inch lamp adjustment at a time or finessing a layout at three a.m., once Katie sets her mind to something, she makes it happen.

Lucky for us, this talented art director decided to join forces with redpepper seven years ago. Since then, she’s performed quite a few miracles around here, including one that continues to impact hundreds of people a year.

Following a life-changing experience, Katie decided to focus more on others and introduced us to CreateAthon — an annual, 24-hour creative blitz of pro-bono work. We’ll be having our 6th one this fall.

Did we mention that she’s also squeezed in tons of award-winning work for paying clients?

As if we needed even more reasons to look up to this southern superlady, Katie is also a full-time mom to twins Ethan and Griffin.

In her “free” time (a.k.a. when the boys are sleeping) she manages her own blog and creates signature designs for her very own Etsy store.  Katie also loves traveling and scuba diving with her husband, and catches every Auburn football game she can.
